Football Ferns vs USA Womens

Are you ready? Our very own Football Ferns will be facing the most successful women’s national team of all time, the USA, in two tune-up fixtures for the upcoming 2023 World Cup. The two fixtures, Wednesday the 18th @Sky Stadium and Saturday the 21st @Eden Park, represent a golden opportunity to test ourselves against the best in the world. With stars such as two-time World Cup winners Megan Rapinoe and Alex Morgan, as well as 2019 FIFPro World XI member Rose Lavelle featuring. 

Hosting the current world champions in New Zealand will give the Ferns a perfect opportunity to measure themselves and for coach Jitka Klimková to craft her perfect squad for the upcoming tournament. Her 26-person squad includes some exciting prospects, who will be looking to prove themselves and secure a spot for July. Amongst those, Wellington Phoenix’s Grace Wisnewski & Lily Alfeld will be keen to earn their first-ever cap for the Ferns.
